2. Data We Collect

We collect your name, email address, billing address, and payment information when you purchase a membership or subscribe to our newsletter.

We also collect technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) automatically when you visit our website. IP addresses are pseudonymised upon collection and used for security and performance purposes only.

3. Legal Basis

We process your data on the following grounds:

  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): to provide your membership and process payments

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): to send you newsletter and marketing communications

  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): to operate and secure our website

4. Service Providers

We use the following processors, each bound by a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR):

  • Stripe (USA) — payment processing. Data transfers to the US are safeguarded via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

  • MailerLite (Lithuania, EU) — email and newsletter delivery. No data transfer outside the EEA.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data Retention

  • Billing & membership data: 7 years from end of membership (Austrian tax law, BAO)

  • Newsletter & marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent

  • Technical & usage data: 12 months

  • Email correspondence: 3 years from last contact

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at christian@slowdownclub.co. We will respond within 30 days (Art. 12(3) GDPR).

You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
