Terms and Conditions
1. Parties
These Terms govern the membership agreement between Christian Fleck, trading as Slowdown Club, Speckbachergasse 25/1/11, 1160 Wien, Austria ("Slowdown Club", "we", "us") and the individual purchasing a membership ("Member", "you").
By purchasing a membership, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.
2. Physical & Mental Wellbeing
By joining Slowdown Club, members confirm that they are in a suitable physical and emotional state to engage with the content and practices offered. Slowdown Club does not provide medical or therapeutic services and does not replace them. Nothing within the membership constitutes a substitute for medical treatment or advice. If in doubt, please consult a doctor or therapist before participating.
3. Membership Term
Memberships run for 12 months. At the end of the membership period, access expires and no automatic renewal takes place. To continue your membership, a new purchase is required. We will send a reminder before your membership expires.
4. Right of Withdrawal (Consumer Members)
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Austrian law (FAGG). By completing your purchase and accessing the membership, you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once you have accessed the service.
Business members acknowledge that this right does not apply to contracts concluded in the course of their business activity.
5. No Refunds
After the withdrawal period has expired or been waived, membership fees are non-refundable. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current membership period.
6. Limitation of Liability
We reserve the right to modify, pause, or discontinue any part of the membership — including specific calls, events, or content — due to circumstances within or beyond our control, including illness, insufficient registrations, further education, or vacation. Where we make material changes, members will be informed promptly by email.
Changes in staff or format do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Members bear full responsibility for themselves and their actions during live calls, events, and community interactions. They are solely responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes arising from content or information encountered through the membership. No liability claims can be made against Slowdown Club sourcing from the application of knowledge or information acquired through the membership.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the membership. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury or damages caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Consumer statutory rights remain unaffected.
In the event we permanently discontinue the membership entirely, members will receive a pro-rata refund for the remaining membership period.
7. Community Rules & Access
Membership is personal and non-transferable. You may not share your login or grant access to non-members. Members agree to engage in good faith and refrain from harassment, spam, or distributing community content outside the platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a membership without refund in the event of a material breach of these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All content provided through Slowdown Club — including recordings, materials, and podcast content — remains the property of Christian Fleck / Slowdown Club and is protected by copyright. Members receive a personal, non-transferable licence to access content for their own use. Unauthorised reproduction, sharing, or broadcasting is prohibited.
9. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy at www.slowdownclub.co/privacy and used for internal purposes only.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Austrian law. Place of jurisdiction is Vienna. Consumer members retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time with reasonable notice to members.
